On Tuesday we got a visitor from the Civil Defence , a lady named Annmarie and she brought her dog Mazook. They came to talk  to us about how to protect us in a earthquakes. She played a sound of a earthquake When you hear that sound you have to drop cover and hold. She also was showing us balancing and was telling us that the ground goes like a  rolling wave.

When you're in an earthquake you can hear the cracking and rumbling sounds.

In An earthquake you need to curl into a ball just in case if something drops  that way your legs will not get  trapped. If you're out and not close to a table or anything you have to curl into a ball and put one hand on your head and the other hand on your neck.

Mazook is like a rescue dog. If you want to know more about earthquakes you can search the internet. It was a awesome day learning more about earthquakes and how to protect yourself.
